Ladies and Gentleman, Start Your Engines!

Or, just me.  Because yesterday I drove for the first time in three months, WOOHOO!!!!  I finally hit the time where I could legally drive after a seizure, which is three months in Texas.   I did go out with Jeff and practiced on Saturday evening in a parking lot of a closed store, just to get my confidence up, but surprisingly I felt really good even with such a long hiatus.

I made Jeff document the momentous day:
I think The Duchess missed me.  I know I missed her!

So now I have some freedom - I can run errands!  Go to Target whenever I want!  Stop by my favorite hotspots to check for bargains...you know, the usual.  Plus I don't have to inconvenience Jeff by having him take a late lunch so he can bring me home from work.  And last week it felt like I'd gone back in time when my parents drove me to and from work; bet they thought they were finished doing that about 40 years ago, but not quite, haha.

Watch out world, Shelley's got her wheels back!
