FMM - Now With a Superhero

So I finally got to meet Thor, my future third husband (after Will Ferrell in case you've forgotten and HOW COULD YOU HE'S SO FUNNY):
We had a connection right away.

He's at a Game Stop somewhere in Dallas.  I may need to visit him again so I probably should figure out where he lives...

We'd made a quick trip to Dallas on Friday afternoon to check out a house that Allie is buying; we arrived as the inspector was finishing so we got to hear his report.  It's an older home that has been remodeled and is really nice but there's a few things that need to be done.  So once the purchase goes through, guess where we'll be many weekends?  It'll be fun - we like helping our kadults with house projects.  Plus we'll be able to bring Paco since there is a fenced yard and it's her house with no pet deposit issues, finally.  Paco will be thrilled, he loves to visit his kids.

Speaking of Paco, I swear he does more than sleep these days, but he does sleep a lot, and he's just so cute that I can't resist taking pictures:
Somehow he made a little tent when a blanket was draped on the couch.

Another day, another private nap.  He's really into hiding while sleeping lately.

This is my favorite thing about the Fiestaware mini disc pitchers - they make adorable vases for bits of flowers and look so cute grouped together.  These were the last remaining flowers from my beautiful surgery bouquets.
I call this shot April, May, June, July, August, and September.  Really should get an October one as well...

I was having a low day last month and when these went on sale with free shipping, I ordered one for each month of my herniated disc - get it, disc pitchers for a disc?  It made complete sense to me, LOL.

Have a great weekend!

  5. I love Will Ferrell too! His facial expressions make me crack up. My second husband is Joe Elliott, lead singer of Def Leppard, and has been since I was a teenager :)

  7. Discs for the disc is fabulous! If you get dental work done, will it be plates for the plate? LOL Any excuse to brighten up the world with more fiestaware. BTW, I got an invitation to subscribe to the Magnolia Journal and it made me think of you :-)
