Happy Independence Day!

It's the 4th of July and we are celebrating our nation's 238th birthday!  This morning Jeff and I will be running the Four on the Fourth race in Carrboro, North Carolina, and we'll follow that with some pure summer food - grilled meat, corn on the cob, and chilled watermelon.  We'll make the most of our last day in North Carolina as tomorrow we'll start the long drive home to Texas.

To my American readers, enjoy "our" day - and to everyone, come back on Monday for our new AIM post.  I'll have my race recap up on Wednesday.  Have a great weekend!

  1. Hope you are having a wonderful fourth and good luck in the race!! Eat a BIG slice of watermelon for me too.

  2. Sounds like a wonderful time! I like the picture. Did you take that?

  3. Hope you had/have safe travels!!!

  4. Saw on FB that the run went great and I hope that you're home safe by now.

I love hearing from you and read each and every comment! Comments on older posts are moderated, so they won't show up right away - sorry to my real readers, but spammers love to hit old posts, so this is necessary.
