Short and Sweet

I don't have much to say today except that I'm a bit nervous - I have an appointment this afternoon with an epileptologist in Houston, where I'm hoping to get some clarity on what's actually happening with my brain.  I know that no one can predict if I'll have another seizure or if what happened last November was a one-off caused by something random, but I sure would feel more confident moving forward to have a better game plan than "take this anti-seizure medicine for the rest of your life" - really?  So we'll see.  It'll be a long day - my appointment isn't until 4:00 pm, and then we'll find somewhere to have dinner in Houston to wait out traffic before heading home.  Hopefully I'll something encouraging to report back with soon.
