FMM - 20 MINUTES, EEK!

Let me go on record to say that it is really hard to get much done in 20 minutes at the computer.  I probably shouldn't have wasted precious time taking a picture of my timer, but let's see if I can get this post done in one 20 minute increment.
::cue Mission Impossible music::

I did too much on Tuesday and paid for it on Wednesday, being super sore and hurting a lot.  But hey, I did get my coffee table straightened up - and believe me, it was a mess after surgery:
I'm reading the Magnolia Table cookbook for fun.  And one of these days I'm even going to make some of the recipes - they all look really good!
It took me some time to get the right height of books in the round basket to display this CUTE terrarium that my parents sent - succulents, and I love that they are artificial because I can put it so many more places in the house...all of my real succulents start to die if they are away from the windows.  Side note:  it's hard to put rectangular books into a round basket.

I think Paco was trying to send a message to Jimmy:
Take me wif you Jimmymeow.  I want to see cows.

Poor dog couldn't convince Jimmy to take him, but he did convince Jeff to give him some apple peels:
Pleeze.
PLEEZE.
Tank yu.  Dat's all I wanted.

Annnnnd?
 Success!!

I blame any typos on my speedy post.  Have a great weekend!

  1. Glad you're feeling better!

I loved your post on succulents so much that this summer I planted some of my own. They just loved the summer sun and heat. I still have them outside but I'm wondering when I should bring them in. Do you think they'll survive the winter? I have a big south exposure window in my kitchen.

  4. True story: someone put that Magnolia cookbook in our Yankee Swap last Christmas and it was the most coveted item by the adult women. My daughter ended up with it - I need to ask her if she has made anything from it!

It must be hard to be still and patient with this process but I just know it's going to pay off for you in a big way.

  5. I'm so glad you're doing better! But why is 20 minutes in a waiting room an eternity, but when we're limited to 20 minutes it flies by? Anyway, I love how organized you are, and how you always manage to stay positive.

  6. My dogs LOVE apples and apple peels. They come running when they hear (smell?) me peeling an apple in the kitchen. Poor doggies, they apples and peels now go to the chickens. That was a very fun post in 20 minutes!!!

  7. I bought a succulent plant this year. Have to get a picture of it and show it to you. I haven't killed it yet and it is out of reach of Ms. Pixie, so yay! Each day that goes by is a day further out from your procedure and one day closer to full healing!

  10. That is a speedy post! Whenever I try to be quick writing a post, well... I never am! ;)

I think cleaning up the table was totally worth it and seeing it organized helps you heal faster anyway!
