FMM - Fun Things I've Photographed #1

This could be an ongoing series of posts, hence the #1 in the title.  Or, I might forget that I started this series and it might be the only one.  Who knows?  I'm dealing with a double dose of brain fog between my everyday CRS* and now the drugs I'm taking for pain so it's a wonder I get anything accomplished.

Rainbow pins from my high school years.

Uncooperative Henry wearing his new pet tag.
Dachshund key chain sent all the way from Germany!

Sigh.
Nap détente.

Today is Jeff's birthday so we're off on a little adventure.  Oh - if you're still interested in buying one of the Nuu-Muu dresses using my $20 coupon code (FLOWERS), you only have a few days remaining - Sunday is the last day you can use it.  Click here for the dress in Jasmine, which is what I have, or click here for the same pattern in Orchid (pink).
I seriously love this dress.  Worn scandalously without capris or shirt underneath - but only in my backyard, haha.  It feels so cool as I sit outside each morning.

Have a great weekend!

  2. Your pins are so cute! I'm a tiny bit jealous that you have things from high school. I moved so much my entire life things got "lost."

Have a great day celebrating Jeff - here's to it being fun and with little to no pain!

  4. I have a pin from my youth that says "I shot JR" - remember when that was the thing? LOL That dress looks comfy. I need to catch up on posts, so I'll read that next. I might get one of those for when I have my surgery and want all the comfy clothes. I hope you guys have a great weekend and it's not too hot :D

    1. Oh man, I remember the whole "who shot JR" excitement! The dress would be nice for you, especially as you recover in the hot summer. I think you can still get the pink one for $48, which is a nice deal!

Oh and we're having lovely recordish heat, so where we're going will be about 10 degrees cooler, yay! ;)

  5. You do look good in that dress!! Is that your coffee maker that is dripping? Is that why you said "sigh?" Have fun on your adventure!!!

    1. Thank you! And the "sigh" was because I started my Nespresso machine, turned around to do God knows what, turned back around to see I'd forgotten to put a cup there. It's only a 3 ounce pour so basically it was a waste. My brain. I miss it.

  6. I still have a lot of trinkets from childhood, high school, college, and early adulthood. I store them in my jewelry box and once in a while I take them out and look at them.
I actually still have a tooth that was removed in 1965 when I was about 12 years old (a lower canine). We couldn't afford for me to have braces so back then, they just took out a healthy tooth to give the others room to "move." My dentist now is appalled by that, but I still get a chuckle when I look at it. It's about an inch long!

  8. henry looks so much like my new cat Champ but he would never wear a collar and tag. Though I have had cats in the past who have. You have to start early. Too late for Champ.

    1. Henry is 14 years old and he wouldn't wear a collar in his early years so we gave up. But we tried again about a year ago and he was fine. He doesn't even mind the dangling tag, which is a new addition...so there's hope for Champ, seriously.
