Wednesday Workout Update

There is no WWU because there were no workouts.  Or runs.  My alarms used to look like this:
The good old days.

Now, this is what I see:
Blank.  I finally deleted the old alarms because it made me sad to see them.

Here's a throwback to happier times:
Chasing down a man to beat him at the finish, laughing all the way!

I'm glad I had so much fun with running this year.  I hope to post a similar picture at some point in the near future.  And for crying out loud, I hope I can set some alarms for workouts and running soon!

    1. There is that...and it's nice when I've had a bad night because of pain, I don't have to wake up until I want to. OK when the dog and cat want me to, LOL.

  3. You will be back to working out hopefully soon.

Did you start working with your new PT yet?

    1. No, my appt isn't until June 10 - she's very booked up, but I know and trust her so I'm willing to wait.

  4. LOL, for me, no alarms is a good thing! I hope the pain will resolve soon and that you will get to work out again. Being sedentary is only good for so long!

    1. I posted that and then I had the 5am alarm thanks to Paco, LOL. And yes, being sedentary is overrated when it drags on this long.

  5. Maybe you can enjoy the downtime. When the pain goes away you will be So ready to get out there and run again!

  6. You remain in my thoughts and prayers!!!

And yes..look at the last year of running ‘bliss’ (yeah you were happy) as a nice way to go out on a short term sabbatical from running.. yeah it makes you miss it more, but it will be so much easier to get back to it when you are cleared to workout!!!

  7. I haven't had many runs or workouts lately either, but I am not even injured, just lazy. Are you able to do any kind of workout in the meantime?
