Friday Mishmash

Things are getting back to normal in our house after two months of dusty upheaval.  I finally had time to sit down, clean out my knitting cart, and actually knit for the first time since the renovation began!  It was just a little bit on a sock that I'd started a while back, but it felt good to get back into the soothing rhythm of knitting:
Ahhh, mundane normalcy.  I'm a fan.

We didn't get to see our Renegade babies last weekend because we were out of town, and we won't see them this weekend because they will be out of town.  That's too long to go without baby hugs!  Cary did text me a couple pictures of Logan tasting his first Popsicle, though, and they are too cute not to share:
A POPSICLE?  LOOKS YUMMY!  WONDER WHAT FLAVOR IT COULD BE??
LEMON.

She also sent a video, where he kept making that face but going back for more.  I get you, Logan, I really do.  Of course, that won't stop us from encouraging you to try a Pickle Pop one of these hot days...with camera ready, of course.

Blog news:  There won't be a post on Monday, as that is the Memorial Day holiday here in the United States.  Hope you all have a great weekend, enjoy the extra day off, and I'll see you back here on Wednesday!

  3. That face is priceless! Happy Memorial Day Shelley!

My ac is out and they may not be able to fix it until tomorrow. Its hard to believe I grew up in a house that didn't turn on the ac until June sometime or other my mom hated it but we run it all the time year round at our house now days I'm sure living in TX you understand.

  4. Your sock looks like a tiny hat :D Normalcy is underrated, don't you think? You don't appreciate it until it's disrupted for a long period.

    1. Let me know what you think of the pickle pop - our group is about 50/50 on them. I'm in the pro 50% after the first taste, which can be a bit of a shock.
