Friday Mishmash - What Do You Mean, It's Not Friday??

Continuing with the wonky theme for this week, here's an abbreviated Friday Mishmash, because on Friday, I hope to post my Turkey Trot 5K recap.

First off, today marks 54 years of wedded bliss for my parents - Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!  Here's their high school prom picture:
Awww, so cute!  Teenagers from the (late) 1950s.

********************

Next, Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers!  Tomorrow, we will run a 5K, and then feast.  Might even watch a little football - the Aggies are taking on LSU, which probably won't end well for the Ags, but you never know.
I see Paco is already anticipating some Thanksgiving treats...

That's it!  See you on Friday.

    1. Yeah, they look pretty cute in that picture. I wish my mom had saved her prom dress - that would have been fun to play dress up in!

  3. I think maybe I saw your dad's pic and said this before? He looks a little like my dad--maybe its the haircut? But anyway, that must be why we look like sisters :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family! What is Paco's favorite Thanksgiving treat?

    1. Too funny about the dad/us similarities!

Paco likes EVERYTHING. I don't let him have turkey though - for some reason, I have it in my head that it's not great for dogs?

    1. Being married for 54 years sounds old. Being 51 years old, however, does not...funny how that goes!

  5. Shelley - you are messing me up. I depend on the internets to tell me what day it is...

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. Congrats to your parents! Not to be creepy or anything but weren't men so handsome back then? I see pictures of our pappy from that time frame and he just looks so dapper! Maybe it's just the black and white photos? Good luck at your turkey trot!
