Wedding!

Saturday was the wedding of our son Sam's friends Erin and Mark. It was a very sweet ceremony, followed by a reception at (I believe) the tallest building in our town - we were on the 11th floor and enjoyed excellent views of our entire burg! Below, some pictures for your enjoyment:

Jeff, Sam and me - in the dress once again!

The cake topper - I loved it - and I'll post why in a couple of weeks!

After the reception, the wedding party went to their favorite park for a quick game of frisbee - how fun is this picture?!?

All in all, it was a great wedding and I am so glad that I got to go! We ended our day by seeing the new movie "UP" - in 3D, no less! It was really good...of course, my favorite part was Doug the dog...hmmm, reminded me of someone...

  5. What a fun wedding picture! Glad to see they are having a great time and not too serious.

I've been a bridesmaid to too many weddings where the brides expectations for the day are so high, that if one thing goes wrong they feel the day is ruined!

We were going to see that movie too but we had the wrong theater time!

  8. What a cute cake topper. And I'd be wearing than dress again too, as good as it looks on ya! Good looking family, and it is pretty obvious Sam was not adopted! :-)

  9. The wedding looked fun! Loved the cake-topper ... when we got married about 2 years ago, we had bunnies on top of our cake. Not gonna explain why, but will say that convention and normalcy never interested me! Vee at www.veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com

  12. Oh I love that picture of them in the park. I would totally blow that up and put it in my house.

Keep it when things are up and when things are down to remind them of where they started.

Glad you had a great time!
