My 60-pound loss picture
While some parts of my body are getting smaller, others are appearing larger. Can you guess what I am talking about? Sigh. I have always hated having a big bust…and I swear, this picture made me realize that some things are not shrinking along with the rest. At this rate, I'm going to look like Carol Doda...you can Google her if you're not familiar with the name, but *fair warning* the pictures won't be safe for innocent eyes.
I know what you mean, out of the 25-30 pounds, and few sizes of everything else I've dropped, mine aren't any smaller either. I had to tighten the band around my body, but that's it. BTW, Carol Doda has a lingerie shop in my town, and she still performs (singing, no longer topless). She sings well, is very nice, I think she has some osteoporosis.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't know Carol Doda was still alive...
ReplyDeleteI thought that was the weirdest thing about my losing weight this time around. In the past when I lost weight the boobs were the first to go but not this time. Must be something in the air. I didn't drop a cup size until after the first 50 pounds, then it was only one cup size.
ReplyDeleteOK, so it's not just me, then...
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say that. Mine are getting smaller. I have the flip-flop of your problem. My upper body is getting smaller but my lower is not coming off in the same ratio. I really look like a pear. If i get something that fits on top, it accentuates the width of my bootay and fat roll.
ReplyDeleteSometimes ya just can't win.
I think you look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou should be very proud of yourself!
I remember Carol Doda!
ReplyDeletebtw, I think you look awesome, and congrats on the 60 lb loss.
Hey Shelley! Same thing happened to me several years ago - I lost 40 pounds over about 4 months, and I GAINED a cup size...now, 4 years later, they're still here - I'm AFRAID to try to lose any more weight! HA-HA!!
ReplyDeleteI'm scared to google her.
ReplyDeleteFunny, after loosing almost 70 lbs. I'm just now coming down a cup size. Boobage is typically the first to go, or so I thought.
That color looks hot on you, btw. Looking good!
You know, I'm glad I wrote this post - I never would have guessed that this "issue" has affected so many other! Thanks for sharing, ladies!
ReplyDeleteI lose my boobs real quick in weight loss. I think you look just fine. Congrats on the loss.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing worse than not losing your boobs, is losing them. I remember a coworker who was heavy, and rather tall. She had medium-ish boobs and had them reduced, which only accentuated her apple shape and was NOT an improvement. So, even though it's not always fun to work around them, they're still a blessing - you look great, by the way!
