I trust your judgement about the book, Shelley. Perhaps I will look into it, though there is plenty of good info in that April issue alone. Nice to see more of these books come out. I think people just need meal ideas to follow. Otherwise they just do lean cuisines and tuna and then give up, which I don't blame them for.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09781375451012608773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3067665701316634699.post-43038181453220203002012-09-11T07:17:28.157-05:002012-09-11T07:17:28.157-05:00Great point on using this as a transition back int...Great point on using this as a transition back into regular eating once racing season is done! I've always felt that dieting during half or full marathon training was a terrible idea. Maybe by waiting until afterwards you will be able to avoid the small uptick in weight that happens to a lot of folks as they reduce their running and try to figure out how to reduce their food intake to match.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12308631304554235792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3067665701316634699.post-54144312632078289912012-09-11T06:48:22.650-05:002012-09-11T06:48:22.650-05:00To me it sounds like extreme calorie reduction for...To me it sounds like extreme calorie reduction for a short time, which will encourage rebound eating and weight gain. It will sell well but I don't think it will help many people in the long run. <br />Phoebeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06012146295764514014noreply@blogger.com
