Know what I bought myself when I lost 100 pounds? A new toilet brush. Sad, but true. I think boots would have been a better choice, but I still had NO self-esteem and absolutely NO fashion sense (which I still don't, but I'm getting better).

Congrats to you, my friend! You've worked hard for those boots.

I evidently have no shame left either, I had a very similar conversation with a young guy in Penney's about boots and my fat/muscular calves. I explained that it's because I use the treadmill on an incline(that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)
Be careful, this is my first winter in twenty some years that I can fit in boots and I've bought three pairs so far.
