Tucker's Tale of Woe

Tucker is an eight-month-old puppy who lives next door to our Clubhouse.  He goes for walks every morning, but on Saturday mornings his day is made because Koda, his best friend in the entire universe, is outside hanging with us and Tucker gets to play with Koda.  Those two LOVE to play!  They run and jump and roll each other and you can see the pure joy that they both get from their playtime together.

Except that last Saturday, Koda wasn't home.  He'd gone with his family to a birthday celebration, and while the rest of us Renegades were cooling off on the driveway after our run, we were a massive disappointment to Tucker when he came outside with his Grandma for a walk:
He stared at us, hopeful that Koda would magically appear.  When that didn't happen, he promptly sat down.  WHERE KODA?
Then Tucker laid down.  I JUST WATE HEER FOR KODA.  HE COME OUT SOON.
Grandma worked to get Tucker back on his feet.  I BRICK HOUZE GRANDMA.  CAN'T MOVE ME.
GRANDMA ONE STRONG LAYDEE.
...and then, Tucker sat down again.  NO GRANDMA.  I WATE FOR KODA.
Poor Tucker.  Poor Grandma.  There was quite the struggle to convince him to walk.  He finally left, but he kept looking back.  I think Tucker worried that we were hiding Koda from him.  I KNO YOU WERE DOING DAT.  WHERE KODA?!

And that, my friends, is Tucker's Tale of Woe.  It truly is a dog's life.  Here's hoping he and Koda will get to play tomorrow, because if they don't, I worry that Tucker may need a little doggy anti-depressant.  Have a great weekend!

  9. Dogs really do know their routines. It's so sad they missed their play date. Tucker was probably depressed all day.
