FMM - Country Edition

We had so much fun last weekend when we went to the country for Karen and Jimmy's Frisbee BBQ!  Let's play "here is a picture" with some of my shots from our evening.

Here is a picture of Chip Charles hoping that something might fall off of the grill:
Sorry Chip, everything was safe.

Here is a picture of my s'mores, just before part of the marshmallow fell off:
Sad times to lose part of the marshmallow, but that's what I get for trying to take a picture instead of just eating it.  Chip helped me clean it up, so it was all good...as was the s'mores - YUM.

Here is a picture of a marshmallow just about to catch fire:
We roasted them on the grill that Jimmymeow made.

Here is a picture of Jeff holding a can of Roberl Earl Keen beer:
Robert Earl Keen is a famous country singer who went to Texas A&M University.  We've seen him in concert many times which is great fun, as they are total sing-a-longs.

Here is a picture of Chuck Norris's C Force bottled water:
He lives in the same area where we had our Frisbee BBQ, so naturally we had to have his water.  It tasted great!  Well, it tasted like water, but it was ice cold and refreshing after running around with the Frisbee, so I have to give it a 5 star rating.

Here is a picture of cows:
COWS!

Here is a video of cows being lured closer by Jimmy shaking some rocks in a bucket:
The mama cow stared us down - she was expecting food!  I mean, it's not like she didn't have an entire pasture to graze in, but she heard the bucket and came running.  Unfortunately I stopped recording before she gave us a loud and long MOOOOOOOOO in protest.  Then she turned and headed over to the pond to drown her sorrows.

Here is a picture of a beautiful Texas sunset in the country:
You can still see mama cow down near the water, plotting her revenge.

While we won't be spending time this weekend in the country, we will be playing Frisbee - ours is scheduled for delivery for today, woohoo!  So along with doing some running tomorrow, we'll also be running after the Frisbee!

Have a great weekend!

    1. Well, Chuck doesn't make water, he just draws it from his well and bottles it. Too funny, though.

    2. I don't like smores either! But I do love a Pinwheel or Mallomar and I also like a moon pie which is all the same ingredients. Weird, I know.

    1. The video should work now - I always forget that even though Blogger shows it working in the preview, I really have to go through YouTube.

  9. Finally some time to catch up on blogs so I'm late to the party. Lovely evening you had with your friends. Karen and Jimmy live at a beautiful spot.
