Happy New Year 2016!!!

It's 2016!!!  Happy New Year to my friends - and yes, I consider all of you friends, even if I've only met just a few of you in person.  Here's to making 2016 our best year yet!

Ever since I lost weight and started exercising, I like to do something on New Year's Day to set myself up for a year of success, so I'll be going on a long run this morning.  Whatever you choose to do today, I hope you have a wonderful start to this fresh new year.

  1. Happy New Year Shelley! I hope you have a great long run today!

I am going into my first year ever with no weight goals but I will keep eating healthy, doing my walks, lifting my weights a couple of times a week in other words I shall carry on! I hope this year is a great one for all of us.

  3. That's a great thought, Shelley. I'm in total panic mode preparing for a retreat but if I try to get myself on the treadmill despite the chaos, that will be a good first step into the year.
Wishing a wonderfully happy and healthy New Year to you and your family!

    1. Ooh, a quilting retreat? Sounds fun, but I can appreciate the panic packing ahead of it.

  4. Happy New Year--great way to start the year! I didn't quite make it to the gym today. But I finally washed all the clothes--does that count?

  8. Happy New Year my dear friend.

I also ran on New Year's Day, can you believe it? :) Time to start over again, I have been too lazy for too long.

Here's to a great year for both of us.

  9. Happy New Year to you and your family, Shelley! I'm looking forward to much change this year and hope to face it with help from your blog and your awesome outlook. I'm planning to tackle my regained weight head-on and get back to where I was a couple years ago. Need to look back through your posts for inspiration. Happy to be able to have connected with you recently after reading your blog all this time. Best wishes to you and your family!
