Lift Your Sole Giveaway!!!

I am so excited to be bringing you this special offer! Oh wait, I'm not on television, my name isn't Ron Popeil, and this isn't the 80's. Can you tell I watched a fair amount mega-ton of TV in my tender youth? Anyyyway, I really am excited, because Jill from Lift Your Sole has gifted me with this gorgeous, inspiring, oh-so-shiny-and-perfect necklace:
Exactly the mantra that I need to get myself through these next two months - yes folks, in exactly 60 days from today, I will be running my first half marathon (eek)!

And on the back:The magic number!

I am familiar with Jill's jewelry, as I already purchased her "Sole Sister" necklace for my sisters of the shoe - Linda, who got me to run my first mile, Kelly, who convinced me that I could do a half marathon, and Jenny, my running buddy who will be running the half marathon with me in Galveston on November 20th! I also bought the "Run Happy" necklace as a reminder to me that this is fun, even on the days when I wonder what in the heck I have gotten myself into. Obviously I love Jill's creations - she's so talented and comes up with the greatest slogans, and manages to make them fit on jewelry!

And you know what else is great? When you place an order from Lift Your Sole, it comes packaged all pretty and such, so even when you buy something for yourself, you get to unwrap a lovely gift! Lookie here:
Stars! Shiny silver stars on a pretty gossamer bag! With jewelry inside!!!

Ahh - I love her stuff. I know, you probably couldn't tell (yes, that was sarcasm; of COURSE you could tell...shoot, my dog Paco can tell!) - look....here's another picture of me being all cool and wearing two of her necklaces:
Well, you will have to take my word that this is ME wearing these - do you know how hard it is to take a close-up self-portrait of your neckline? In order to see the wording on the necklaces, I had to get very close to my neck, which was more than a little scary in these pictures - hence the close crop. The important thing is the necklaces, anyway...see how pretty they are?!?

Jill very generously sent me an extra "Mind Over Miles - 13.1" necklace for one lucky reader - and all you have to do to enter this giveaway is leave me a comment with what you would buy from Lift Your Sole. I'll take entries until 10:00 pm (CST) Thursday evening and have Random.org draw the winner, with the announcement on Friday's Mishmash, interwebs-willing. Stay tuned, as I'll also have a special discount code available for Friday only, for any orders you want to make from Lift Your Sole! Giveaway is open to everybody since I'll be the one mailing out the necklace - woohoo! Good luck, everybody!

FCC Alert: Lift Your Sole sent me two necklaces - one to keep and one to give away. Opinions expressed, however, all ALL mine.

  2. This one was easy for me! Even thought here are a ton of things in the store I really like, I have been eyeballing the "courage to start, strength to endure, resolve to finish" charm for weeks now... The words speak volumes to me, and have become my mantra when I feel like I can't push any further...

I love LYS's offerings, and have added several to my "if you don't know what to get me for my birthday, Christmas, enter a reason here, THIS would make me really happy list"

Great giveaway! Thank you for the chance :)

  4. I have the "Courage to start, strength to endure and resolve to finish" necklace from LYS and love it! I apply the sentiment to my weight loss journey and my perpetual dissertation work LOL! My next purchase will be a ring...maybe the believe or strength ring. If I happen to win this giveaway, I'll pass along the necklace to a friend who does run (I don't run and never plan to)!

  5. I've been licking the screen more than once on this site. I love it but I never were able to find the shipping costs to Holland. It's in my favorites at home and every know and then I go back and take a look.

My favorite is definitely live, love, run. Running makes living easier. Living without love isn't living. Without love for running you won't get far.

  7. I've liked your Run Happy necklace since you first mentioned it. I've checked it out several times on the site -- that little happy face on the other side is so sweet. So definitely that one! Maybe I'll finally take the plunge on Friday -- after all, Christmas is coming!

  8. If it's ok for a UK'er to enter I'd like to please.
I'd definitely choose the Never Give Up Pendant as I'm really struggling this past few days with continuing with the weight loss and exercise and it seems so apt.

  9. Why do I not remember this site? Why? Because as soon as I sign off, I'm going to order something. But anyway, I'd be torn between the "Live Love Run" pendant, the Runner Girl - which looks like my tatoo!, and the "Never Give Up" pendant. How on earth do people choose?

  20. I love, love, love these! Thanks for sharing the website. I would totally (am totally going to) buy the car magnet that's pink with white polka dots that says 13.1 in honor of my third half marathon in Long Beach on 10/17. Maybe someday I'll even get to buy the 26.2 magnet :)

  21. I would buy the running shoe charm but I also love the mind over miles 13.1 and believe. So many great ones to choose from. I'll be doing my very first race in Jamaica, the Reggae 1/2 marathon but will be walking it instead of running.

Best to you on your upcoming race!

  24. Ooh, dare I try to win another giveaway on Shelley's blog? That would be so cool to win one of those necklaces. I might have to use your special discount code if I don't win.

Those necklaces look great on your chest--LOL'ing about the neck croppage. I don't do much to fight aging, but I am pretty consistent about the neck moisturizing!
